KA1 – Erasmus Plus Courses in Malta
Skills Zone Malta have just hosted two groups of wonderful teachers from Salerno and Catania.
The first group attended the course “Erasmus Plus Project Planning & Writing – Theory Sessions”. This course target participants who are new to EU funding mechanisms and the new Erasmus Plus Framework for the budget period of 2021 – 2027. The course focuses on Key Action 1: Mobility of individuals mainly and Key Action 2: Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of good practices. A focus will be given on the general objectives and the horizontal priorities of the call. The vision of the new Erasmus+ is more Inclusive, more Digital, more International and more environmentally friendly.
Learning Outcomes of this course are to:
Know: The Erasmus+ Programme: objectives, priorities, KA1, KA2 & Sport actions and opportunities for schools; Reference official documentation; European tools and platforms for identifying partners
Be able to: elaborate a European Development Plan/Erasmus Plan; identify funding opportunities coherent with the needs of the school and participants; search for partners.
The second group attended the course “Erasmus Plus Project Planning & Writing – Practical Sessions”. This course targets participants that already have a basic understanding of how EU funding works and some knowledge of the Erasmus Plus Programme (2021 -2027). The course provides a general overview of the new budget and focuses mainly on Key Action 1: Mobility of individuals and Key Action 2: Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of good practices. A focus will be given on the hands on practice of getting a good partnership that fits the proposal’s criteria and tips and tricks for filling in a winning proposal. Best practices and case studies of actual successful proposals will be discussed in detail.
Learning Outcomes of this course are to:
Know: Webform; methods for writing a project; case studies and best practices
Be able to: evaluate the feasibility of an idea; draw up a project on the basis of the Action and the objectives identified and the E+ rules; build the budget; create partnership.
